An agent construction manager for a 15,000 square foot professional building and a 5,355 square foot allergy clinic located on Big Hollow Road in Peoria.  We assisted with design and program development, administered all contract processes, and provided full time supervision and project management services.  This project was completed in 4 1/2 months.

Completed the 3,600 square foot convenience store, gas stations, and car wash on Alta Road in Dunlap, IL and have completed the store on Camp Street in East Peoria.

We served as Freightliner Corporation’s land identification consultant and Construction Manager for all of their new dealerships across the country.  We were responsible for identifying properties in existing and new markets with interstate visibility.  We reviewed all bid documents, made recommendations for material substitution, prepared all bidders lists, and solicitations for formal bidding.  Once all bids were received, we made recommendations for awards and monitored the construction process from start to project closeout.

Designed and built a 12,500 SF expansion to an existing distribution center in Fairview Heights, Illinois.  Included with this project was new heating system for the existing warehouse and new restroom facilities.  We continue to serve as Burklund’s construction expert and assist them with all their renovation and expansion needs.

Completed three projects over a 24-month period.  Completed a 197,000 square foot cross-dock and foreign trade zone at the Greater Peoria Regional Airport that includes 17 acres of concrete pavement.  Completed a 90,000 square foot distribution center in Morton, IL Which was built in 120 days from start to finish. The third project is a 94,000 square foot track assembly facility, which became operational in June 2001 and was published in the June 18, 2001 edition of Engineering News Record.  Served as an “agent” CM for all of these projects.

Willow Lake Office Building—Peoria, IL

Designed and built the Willow Lake Court office building for Dr. Roger Moon, DDS and Mangieri Companies, Inc.  This is a 10,500 SF office building with a 1,750 SF lower level storage area.  This facility was built within 120 days and serves as Mangieri Companies corporate location.

Health Professionals/Falcon Center for Women—Peoria, IL

Selected to serve as the “agent” construction manager and assisted with design development, budget development, and schedule for a new 15,000 SF office headquarters for Health Professionals, Ltd.  This facility includes a 10,000 SF fit-out for HP, Ltd and 5,000 SF fit-out for clinical use.  This project is being positioned for a local architectural award.

Toys R Us—Peoria, Champaign, Bloomington

Completed the Peoria, Champaign and Springfield “resets” for Toys “R” Us and did so on time and within their budgeted expectations.    Unique to Toys “R” Us is we completed the project on a time and material basis.  They insisted on a fixed price and we delivered all changes for several thousand dollars less than our final contract value.  Toys “R” Us was given a credit at the end of the project.

Burger King/Citgo—East Peoria, IL

Completed a new 3,000 SF Burger King and 2,500 SF Citgo facility in East Peoria, for E.M. Properties, Ltd.  We were retained by the developer to provide complete CM services which includes coordination of the site improvements, building shell construction, fit-out of both tenants, underground tank installation, and canopy erection.

 

 

La-Z-Boy Furniture Gallery—Peoria, IL

Completed constructing a 34,000 square foot furniture gallery with a full basement and matching first floor.  This project started May 20, 2002 and was completed October 7, 2002.
